Caveat Emptor
No matter who you buy your M5 from, it is ALWAYS WISE to get a pre purchase inpsection (PPI) done. The E39s are eleven to seven year old high performance cars with most in the 85,000 mile range now and maintenance can be a big issue on a car that has not been properly maintained. As a general rule, maintenance history and the amount of documentation with the car trumps mileage when considering an M5.
