Buying an E39 5 series

I've had two of these issues with my 134,000 mile 2002 M5 - the thermostat failed and two of the buttons have come off of my HVAC control panel. I glued the buttons back on with crazy glue!
Also I had to replace the pre cat O2 sensors at 107,000 miles.
