Francois in Cherbourg, France sent me this picture of his 1988 E28 M5 that he inerited from his father. It has always been a daily driver and has been garaged to protect it from the salt air. Francois says it currently has 388,000 miles on it and the engine had one minor overhaul at 220,000 miles and the car has had two repaints because he is constantly on the lookout for rust and corrosion. All of the interior is original and the seats have had sheepskin covers on them to protect them since his dad brought it home new from Germany. Beautiful car, Francois!
